The jam was a big success! We arrived at the trails on the Saturday to find that the trails were all flooded. So the lot of us put in some time and got those bad boys dryed up nicely. Jam day came and over fifty people showed up, and with bikes or not everybody was just riding n chillin and having a good time. There was some fun contests held and great prizes given away. Although it rained on and off during the day, it had held off long enough to keep the session flowing. Thanks to Pavels Valovs for some of the photos.

Mardyke skatepark has begun construction at long last. It should be finished and ready to shred by the end of Feb, just in time for the coming summer. sweet! Will get photos of construction up soon… Hopefully we’ll get an opening jam organised there in the coming months too.

So we got out a 3 ton Takeuchi for the weekend to our new location not too far out to get started and it wasn’t the easiest task to get the digger in and out of there to say the least! Trying to get the digger in and around the trees was pretty tricky which resulted in one of the tracks coming off on Saturday and the lot of us trying to manoeuvre and yank the thing back into place which took over an hour and a shattered side window on Sunday after wedging it in between two trees ha! Anyways all ‘n’ all we got enough started to keep us going on the first line for a while. The Good Times!
